The birth of Reload Swiss

Back in 2011 Nigel Cole-Hawkins of Commonside Firearms was searching for a propellant that would produce better results than N150, when used in the .308W and a 200gn bullet for the Match Rifle shooting at 1000-1200yds at Bisley. At the time N150 was the ‘go to’ propellant for this discipline. While looking at the technical qualities of propellants from all the major supplier Nigel came across Alliant RL17 and after reading a very interesting article written by German Salazar and Bob Jensen...

This is on our Hut 60 engineering side of the business. We are progressing with our CNC cut rifling machine. Our rifling machine RM1 running with new GUI instead of G Code. It will be easier for a non skilled operator to use. So another step towards barrel production after the delays with our honing machine. ...

Reload Swiss are very proud to have been involved with the Great Britain F Open team. They finished a very credible 4th place in the F Class World Championship International teams match. Although it might of not been quite the result we had hoped for, non the less on the World stage it is a huge achievement to still be proud of. The team made an outstanding achievement on the second day of not dropping a single shot at 800 and 900 yards which must be a record in itself. To put that into perspective 8 shooters put 15 shots each into a 10 inch circle at both 800 and 900 yards. As the Reload Swiss slogan says that’s a “Perfect Hit”Be very proud of yourselves as we are of you. ...

Keep up the great work and good luck in the Worlds later next week.Reflections on the British Open International Teams Match 🇬🇧🎯The British Open International Teams Match didn’t produce the result we were hoping for, but it provided invaluable experience and highlighted areas we can continue to improve as we build towards the main event next week.With some exceptionally tricky and rapidly changing wind conditions throughout the day, it was a real test for every team. Congratulations to the USA F Open Team on a thoroughly deserved victory, and well done to New Zealand F Open for finishing second and South Africa F Open for taking third place.On a more positive note, our Rutland Team put in an excellent performance to finish second in the Rutland Cup, behind a highly deserving Australian Under-25 Team. A fantastic effort by everyone involved.We would also like to congratulate the Great Britain FTR Team on an outstanding victory in the FTR International Teams Match.
